Re: the problem of Pagan book reviews
When I read book reviews (any book reviews), I always read the one stars and the five stars. If the five stars are just gushing and no substance, I'm leery about the book. If the one stars are nitpicking and complaining and the reviewer being the smartest person in the room, I generally assume the book is better than its actual rating.
