Any ranting I'd be doing here would be for the lack of instability, cold fronts, cP and mT air masses and generally boring, uneventful weather patterns.

We *would* have to be parked between two high pressure systems, dammit!

Serious hail in Berkeley, CA?

In the spring?

Confusing.

Sounded like Hermes, Krishna, and Loki got into a serious three-way ping-pong match for about 30 min, with another hour of lighter ball-tossing. I'm not sure whether the hail or a snail took the leaves off my seedlings, but I count myself lucky that the rest of my plants were under cover!

One week of spring/summer weather... 60 degrees (F).... this week it is 30 degrees and snowing... &%$% $&*&^ %%$

It's sunny out here and warm enough some days, but STILL TOO EFFING COLD FOR END OF MARCH! It's below 0 tonight....TOO COLD. It should never be that cold after February.

My plants are all sad-face. They want it to be spring but then night is still like winter...so they grow up during the warm days and the couple of days of normal nights, then die down at times like this. BE REAL SPRING ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes... finally, sap time! Warm enough for trees to wake-up. Slurp! I love drinking tree sap.. my favorite mix is Maple+Barkskin with a touch of wild cherry tree sap. Tastes sweet with a touch of sour taste.
