    I really would like to marry this woman, so you know, seeing other people making it work give me hope!

    It is scary to be open about religious beliefs to a significant other who isn't yours, I'm glad you were both able to talk about it.

            My hubbys a fundy Christian. He's known for ages that I'm of a different religious persuasion. I'm trying to get more into it now, and I'm trying to involve him, and to do things together spiritually. It's a battle, but we are beginning to make things work.

            It can happen. And hopefully will for us.

                  My fella has no real religion ( I mean he does not follow one yet) so sometimes me being on here alot drives him insane LOL BUT he knew I was a spiritual person from the moment we first started talking so I have not had an issue with it (lucky me) My problem is with the other people who live in the village as they are predominantly Christian or JW...........narrow minded ones at that, such the shame..........but they are not my close family or friends so what they think is of no interest to me and I am used to being the "odd one out" anyway

                      Well, I was very adamantly agnostic for a time. I tried to not need answers or spirituality, but I have came to the conclusion that I could not be happy without them. My husband reacted ... very similarly lol. He may have seen it coming, I guess.

                      And as far as narrow mindedness... I live in the Bible Belt. My entire family is Baptist lol. Needless to say they will never know about my personal religious decisions.

                        Browser on stick died

                        Just to let folks know,I had to reinstall my browser because the stick it was on died. So,I have to re-adjust all my settings and may not be up to speed for a bit.
