Yep! I'm pretty sure I recall you. I was working with a nonprofit environmental group around the time I was here. Got caught up in my schooling and kinda dwindled away but I'm back! ^_^

Hello, everyone

My name is Ukiuq and I've been finding my path for about a year now. I'm very much an Inuit pagan, although I find the most connection to the divine through Malina, the goddess of the sun, rather than the entire pantheon. I'm a bit eclectic in my practices, mostly going with what works for me rather than a strict set of rules since the path I've found doesn't really have rules and outlines as some paths might. I fear being a fluffy bunny pagan and I'm here to learn, observe and hopefully grow on my path. Thanks for reading and it's nice to meet all of you!

Where did you learn about the Inuit faith? Most Inuit peoples I have met are strictly Christian, and I've never once come across anything in detail about their pre-Christian days.

(I am not judging, but as someone with a fondness for the culture, I'm just surprised to have never come across it)

My father's mother was Inuit and kept many, many records of every story and tale she had been told about her people, although she was very Christian. I take my information from there and cross reference it with what I can when I can, when I can find other information. But her records of Malina in particular struck a chord so deep within me I can't describe it, so that was the start.
