      ......Blasphemy? I consider it blasphemy to even drink Johnny Walker. I only buy single-malt, from Scotland. :P

        Yeah, I was saying it was blasphemy to ruin a good single malt by mixing it with anything, not blasphemy to drink single malt

          Yep. I agree. But when you want to try a new drink, and you've only got single malt in the house, and no money to go buy cheap whisky that you'll never drink again...

          I don't even put ICE in my scotch.

              I recently discovered Brandywine, it's like a really strong beer. I'm not sure if you'll find it in Texas because I live in upstate NY and it's brewed about 40 minutes away from me, but the best I've had so far is Druid Fluid from Middle Ages Brewing co. They make another awesome one called Wailing Wench.
