Found something in the home...

A friend of mine found something in their home and they weren't sure what it is - they can't identify the herb/flower/grass that was used to make it but it was a grass or flower wrapped in hair. Any ideas of what it might be? It doesn't seem malicious but I don't use herbs so I can't be sure.

A little more info might be helpful...

Where was it? Did it seem to be placed deliberately where someone would find it, or was it hidden away?

Does it match the hair of anyone in the home?

Was it dirty, dried or falling apart, as if it had been there awhile, or were the hair & herb fresh?

I have heard of these sorts of things being used, but from what i remember ( it was in a book i read when i was about 10 i think) what it was depended on the herbs in use were.

Could you get a pic of it up here?
