      you have to turn them on, I never got one till I turned them on. you don't start with them active. you have to go to settings.

        [And, by the way, exactly like emails, "personal" is not synonymous with "private". Emails are on a server, somewhere, and the host of that server can access the database where they could, potentially, retrieve the raw data. Just an FYI, for those that may not think about it.]

        I have turned off Visitor Messages from showing up in the What's New list, however what Chain has said is true. Visitor messages are public. It's like a Facebook wall post, essentially.
