    Think I solved it in that particular thread by posting a couple of verse each day rather than posting for all five at once, that helped. Thanks for the tip about waiting a hour.
    (All this reminds me that I have to do the last five verse of that thing.)

      It's mostly just a way to get around auto-merge which is the actual lock-up. You can't bypass the char limit and auto-merge will try and merge two posts from the same person made within an hour of each other unless someone else posts between them. The problem there being that the way auto-merge is designed that if the end result breaches the char limit then things end badly so it's just getting a friend to post or letting the timer run out on auto-merge.

              I can't imagine whining for that long. And I totally admit to the tl;dr thing when it's a 'this is my story, please help me' post. But I'll read a looong reply if it's a debate or discussion.

              And paragraphs makes such a huge difference. Sometimes I wonder if some keyboards just don't have an 'Enter' key.
