Seems like unless you live in the Middle East you'll be ok regardless...even more OK if you stay away from religious nuts that can't tell the difference between an expected (and predictable) astronomical event and "a sign".

Well Rok,ya know how people get. Freaking lunar eclipse,and the end is nigh. Maybe they "Might" watch "Cosmos" and get some idea how the universe AND science work.

From some things I have read online,there seems a "group" that really wants the whole race to just poof into Nirvana,rather than deal with the day to day human existence.

I think if we(all of us) want paradise,we are really in a position to build our very own,but we would have to NOT count the cost except in human betterment.
