Um.... I'm not sure I understand.

My gut reaction is to say, "You're a grown-ass man! No-one is making you wear a helmet."

But, I realize that there might be overriding obligations... perhaps wife/girlfriend threatening to withhold happy-fun-time if helmet isn't worn...

But, what she doesn't know won't hurt her.

No, its more so these guys won't come after me.

Canadian motorcycle safety laws say we need a DOT approved helmet to ride, to protect our noggins and such.

      From Britain's shore
      Wolfe the dauntless hero came
      And planted firm Britannia's flag
      On Canada's fair domain.
      Here may it wave,
      Our boast, our pride
      And joined in love together,

Is there also a law that requires you to tie your shoes?

Gotta have the government protect us from ourselves.

          That's a bit rude, don'tcha think?

Our laws differ from your laws. It's by-law in a lot of ski towns now to wear a helmet while skiing, and most towns here have a helmet-while-bicycling by-law as well. Although, the DOT approved helmet for motorcycling is a hard law, much like our laws regarding firearms.

I'd appreciate if this thread got back on topic.

Didnt mean it as rude. I feel the same way about seatbelt laws here in the US.

            Sorry to offend.

I don't know if I have an all time favorite, but I was rocking out to this one on my way back from class today.
Yodeling along like an off key weirdo. I have no regrets.

Joni Mitchell`s "A case of you" was the first song that popped into my mind when reading the thread headline. I guess it must be it.

put a banjo in a song, and I'm sold.

I'm a huge fan of bluegrass and progressive bluegrass.

Not sure that I would classify this song as either... It might loosely fit in as progressive bluegrass, but I think I would call it something more like acid folk.

                      Love it.

I enjoy ALL kinds of music, but I can always throw on some Jimi Hendrix and vibe out. Rainy Day, Dream Away is a great song by Jimi.
