Ooooh! All of your dinners sound so yummy!!! I had spaghetti bolognese tonight with added bell peppers and a big glass of red wine :P

    Right? That's my thinking.

It's called First Friday and it's where everyone and their maiden aunt converges on Downtown and makes it their business to back up into and then glare at me for being in their blindspot.

But it turns out that dinner was a surprisingly delicious Thai drunken noodle with beef, crab rangoon, shrimp tempura, shrimp and chicken dumplings, chocolate mousse cake and raspberry sorbet, and the biggest glass of plum wine I've ever paid $6 for. So, you know, worth the social anxiety.

    What's wrong with being a shut-in...?

Grilled chicken, steamed broccolini with citrus herb dressing, roasted parsnips and carrots (tossed in raspberry olive oil), and sliced and salted heirloom tomato. Not bad for thinking it up on the fly ;-)

SHRIMPS. I also had a nice salad, just to make me feel better about downing like, 14 pieces of shrimp.

    That sounds fabulous.

We used to make this mashed potatoes, mac'n'cheese , I don't even know what else was in there dish on our canoeing trips. We dumped everything in one pot, cooked it, and ate it with our spoons out of the pot together, no mess.

    Best meal of my life.
