    Gadfly. Serpent with fork'd tongue.

The one who says - even when the powers that be don't like it - "You know there's another choice, don't you?"
Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

      Myself.

Boiling that down to a neat archetype doesn't work and I am both far too lazy and orders of magnitude to secretive to make an essay about it. I play the part of myself and the rest of creation can try to figure out what that means at any given second.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

      Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Aslan, Prince Caspian by CS Lewis

          I don't really know.

I'm a teacher, so having that role in society is important to me.

My counsellor also pointed out that 'significance' is an important element in my life, so playing parts where I feel significant I guess, which ever form they take.

          RIP

I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
          You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
          The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
          Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
          That everything was shit.

How I'd describe myself archetype wise and how somebody else would are probably two different things.

I'm the adopted black sheep who mostly wants to be left alone, but lends a hand to keep things running here and there and has a knack for squirming into and out of trouble.

                                I'm a child.

Had you asked me 6-8 years ago I'd probably have replied 'teacher', saying that I felt my place here was to pass on information to others. Unfortunately I've come to know a more authentic 'me' since then and she is a perpetual child. I see the world through blinkers, seeing only what is right in front of me, shamelessly enjoying myself and indulging in hobbies while the rest of the world 'gets on with it'. I'm full of love.. I love a lot of things and a lot of people, but like a child, I just expect to be taken care of, that everything will be okay. When it isn't okay, I find it very hard to cope with 'reality', often lashing out in self-destructive ways. There are positive sides to this too of course. Honestly!
