      Only if the mousetrap can invite friends...

      Also, it would seem that my oven is broken. I made a pot of stock, and then the burner wouldn't turn back off. Had to resort to cutting off the breaker. Well, darn... :P

                      That aside, I'm just cranky...I hate everywhere when I'm cranky. I used to think the same thing when I lived in Canada!

                      Mostly, I'm just stressed about finishing my costume for tonight. I fit it to the mannequin but unfortunately there's no 'good' way of fitting the bodice and skirt separaptely because the skirt is heavy and strongly affects how the rest of it sits. So, I down sized the pattern a bit, but now that I'm almost done, it's clearly not enough...the dress is HUGE. And this is AFTER I used the smallest size and took it in a fair bit already.....

                        Not so much a rant as a very shocking experience.

                        I learned today that no coworker I asked (probably half a dozen) knew what a Druid was/is. They didn't know what a Druid was in regards to them being a historical figure and they didn't know what a Druid is in regards to those who practice Druidry today.

                          My brother is apparently prostituting himself for heroine, crack and/or coke. Also selling all his stuff and breaking into all sorts of places and stealing money. He's dragging us into things too. I would say I want him to die but then his 'friends' would probably try something stupid. A few weeks ago some guys showed up with a baseball bat threatening mom for the $50 he owes them. He's also still stealing mom's needles (she's diabetic)

                            I'm sorry to hear that, Corvus. It sucks knowing someone you care about is doing stuff like that. I had a cousin who got involved with drugs and while drinking, agreed to participate in a fight having to do with a bad drug deal he didn't even have anything to do with. He wound up being shot and killed. It's been either two or three years now since his death. It just kills you knowing that until that person is ready to fix the problem, there's not much you can do except show some tough love. My thoughts are with you and your family.

                              I don't care about him. On several occasions I've had to punch/kick/bite/gouge at him and held knives to his throat. I'm sorry about what happened to your cousin but I'm aware we can't do crap until he wants to help himself. Given the opportunity (assuming the legal system has gone poof or some other crap) I would kill him myself. He is scum and vermin and it is beyond my ability to help him. Thank you for the thoughts, they are appreciated
