Oh gods, don't get me started! No one believes I'm a 32 DD, and bra shopping is nearly impossible.

Have you tried Freya? The specialize in the larger cup sizes and they have some really cute ones actually! My sister is a 34G and she has a lot of luck w them. They can be kinda spendy, I think around $55 for one, but you can find them on sale sometimes. They sell them at Nordstroms here in Oregon and sometimes they have them on sale.

I may have to try them. Otherwise I'll starting a fund to buy bras at Victoria's Secret because they one of the few who make my size :\

I got mine on sale at Torrid!
          Push up bra

and this nifty racer back one. Which feels amazing on. Feels like so much support!

I like that though they hold up well, they don't have thick straps. And they have a nice wide back and sides to keep all my extra self tucked in.

One was $36 and the other $34 and I got the sale buy 1 get 1 half off!

I'll have to see if there's a Torrid in my area. Lord knows there's a million and a half Hot Topics.

I was kinda shocked to see a lady with some meat on her bones. Normally the models are all top-heavy, tiny things.

Working for Torrid for 8 years, and the closest store to the HQ, I can assure you these are real models. We actually would go to malls and do model searches with our customers. It was a GREAT time! I have awesome memories of that. They bring in models that are real all the way because they use them as fit models for their jeans. Speaking of...

I'm going to be picking these up with my bounce back coupon I got today. Only in RED!

Agent Provocateur does! It might be too expensive though.

Otherwise, try la senza (not sure if they're in business in the US anymore, but they used to be), and figleaves.com. I feel your pain. I was a 32 D for a while. Heck, being 32 anything is impossible in Germany (they never seem to have it in stock).

It depends on the peoples...but I do it because shampoo is the environmental eeeevils.

We try to reduce disposable plastic use, so baking soda (comes in a box) & apple cider vinegar (glass jar, or DIY with apple peels and cores) is perfect.

I think, if V is wanting to do this for it to be less fuss and less work, that it might not work out. Some people can reportedly do no poo and not actually do anything as an alternative...but I think they are a minority.

Sorry, I actually missed that comment. I'm allergic to Fragrance (that mysterious thing that's in everything) so I can't use a lot of shampoos. Mostly though, I don't like being dependent on any one thing, and when I was in Asia, I didn't have access to fresh water most of the time, so my hair went one week-two weeks at a time without washes. It was gross at first, but after a while it actually got really nice. Now, I only NEED to wash once a week or so. As opposed to I used to have to wash everyday or I'd be greasy.

My hair is really thick and curly and a big pain in my butt. Being a bit greasy helps control it.

Mostly though? I don't wanna use shampoo for the same reason I don't wanna shave. I just don't feel like it. I like to be clean, but I can be clean without chemicals, and it's usually cheaper too. I spend $20 a bottle on shampoo (you try finding fragrance free shampoo for under $10), whereas BS and ACV are cheap cheap. And I'm a bit dirty hippie. It appeals to me to not use shampoo.

That being said, at four and a half weeks without using shampoo, I think I'm going to have to go back. My hair has gotten all tangly, and I have a business conference coming up in two weeks. I can't be greasy headed while in a suit (not when so much is riding on me getting a job at said conference).

But....after that, I might try it again.

Lol, I didn't have too much success the first time I tried it either.

When you do give it another go, what might help is actually oiling the ends of your hair. Olive oil works, as does coconut oil (which is solid and smells better, IMO ) though (and its a bit $$$) jojoba is brilliant for hair. Even better, if you add a couple drops of rosemary essential oil to it. You just massage it into the ends, and then sort of comb up your hair, leave it in overnight, and then wash the next day with the BS/ACV.

Also, you might have been using too much baking soda, if your hair got really dry.

I have boatloads of coconut oil in the house (I eat it, use it on my hands and face and legs, in my hair, etc) but for the dry thing, I actually only used BS for the first time the other day. It's just been really greasy AND really frizzly. I've been combing with a comb (I got in trouble at my hair dressers for using a brush) ...and I can't afford a boar bristle brush, so...

Yeah, I dunno the problem. I'll try it again in another month or so and see how it goes. And thanks for the tip with the rosemary oil - I'm currently using acv with fresh rosemary, but I like the coconut oil idea.

I let my mom borrow my dvd player... without checking to see if it was empty. Now, it is NOT porn that she found... But it was a really fan servicey harem anime, with two nearly naked girls rubbing all up against each other emblazoned right on the dvd. Ecchi not hentai.

Normally I wouldn't be bothered by that, I am totally shameless, but it was her reaction and the conclusion she drew from this that is the crux of my problem.

She took that as proof that I am straight, and was relieved. So I had to have that lovely conversation with her again, and she's even MORE skeptical about it this time.
Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.
