    I am 30 seconds away from losing my damn mind. I work for a company that does in home health care...I have worked 42 hours this week and still have another 12 hour shift to go. My clients have dementia, the one refuses to eat 85.3% of the time and I have to encourage and practically force every bite. They are moving apartments today. Have you ever tried to explain to a 88 year old dementia patient he doesnt own the apartment he lives in...you end up doing it 6 times in an hour. Im tired, im exhausted, and I want to go home and cuddle. >.< and now my client is getting snippy and pissy with me because they dont want to move. Like im the one who made the decision. *sigh*

      I've had the last four days off! Would be great if it wasn't because I'm not feeling well. Totally wasted.

        I'm usually great with heat, and while I don't mind our extreme heat wave, I just can't seem to work properly. I can do housework and physical things, but whenever I try to work at the computer, I'm slow, misspell things, and have long moments of pure blank. I think heat must make me stupid.

        Since I'm freelance, I'm going to start getting up at 6 and working early, and taking a long siesta in the afternoon. There has to be a reason why people in hot countries do it. What's the point of working at home if you can't do things like that?

              I really don't want to be one of 'those neighbors', but the renters next door keep throwing (or their kid keeps throwing) garbage into my back yard. I've asked them not to do it anymore, but obviously a simple request isn't working. It's kinda pissing me off, especially because tonight's treat was a used diaper.

              I went the passive-agressive route & threw it back over the wall. It's a damned good thing we have to escort the dog outside right now. Eating a diaper can kill a dog.

                Do you have contact info for the landlord? Also, have you talked to their other neighbor (assuming they have someone on the other side) and seen if they have the same problem?

                Sometimes you gotta be one of "those neighbors", and when you do, its better to have all of your ducks in a row!

                        generally,I seldom rant about politics BUT just watching the news and seeing the Republicans seemingly oblivious to how crazy they sound when they keep trying to kill Obama care seems to have hit my last nerve.

                        There is something I have seen in my life that this reminds me of,one person that shell remain unnamed use to be something of a con person. The thing about this person was after he conned someone,he would almost seem to want YOU to praise him for being so clever. He could not get it through his head that what he had done was something most people would not brag about. In watching the Republican Cruz talk about defunding Obama care he reminded me of this person I mentioned. It seems to me it is less about doing something that they believe in,but wanting to brag that they got over and would want to brag how they had "HoodWinked" the other side.

                        So much for my rant,and so much for thinking that the republicans are sane.

                          I really don't want to rant. More like whimper in the corner under the couch facing the wall like a sick cat. So I'm taking 150 mg of Zantac twice a day. In the morning and at night. Great. It's actually working. Don't feel all funny in the chest area anymore. Though I'm still having slightly upset tummy problems. And it's making me just not eat as much as I used to. Which is GREAT I guess. I'm not eating any fried foods. Just sandwiches and fruit, and light sugar yogurt. Anyways Zantac has the adverse reaction of making my Metforming super hero sized. Meaning it's making it work over time. I took the Zantac at 8pm At a small dinner of a sandwich, a handful of chips and grapes. As I'm eating I start to shake. AS I'M FUCKING EATING. Give me a damn break. I'm not hungry. And I don't want to eat more. I'm thinking of going to the store and getting a can of sugar cola to drink. Just so I don't freak out in the middle of the night. I decided to not take my evening dose of Diabetic meds.

                          I'm seriously just struggling here. I know it takes time to adjust to meds. I know. I just want to give up so badly. Eat a big ol chocolate cake and die with my face in chocolate icing and get it over with.

                              That's all pretty sucky. Hope it balances out soon. My ex bf had odd blood sugar issues, he wasn't diabetic but sometimes his sugar would plummet to where he'd act drunk.

                                When Americans identify as Canadian and wear Canadian patriotic clothing while travelling abroad.

                                A friend came back from Britain recently. This was his experience.

                                Meet a tourist in Britain, see large Canadian flag. Get happy because it is another Canadian, try and break the ice. Ask the tourist, "What kind of pop are you drinking, I've been looking for something to drink." Tourist looks puzzled, looks at their hands and says "Oh you mean this soda?" in a long island accent. After a few questions my friend found out this tourist was in fact from long island and was just posing as a Canadian to get "Better service."

                                I'm not sure if there is a good reason for people to do it, but it still bothers me. I'm proud to be Canadian, so it kind of bothers me when people act like they are Canadian when they Aren't.
