    I would like to hit people. In the face. Just in general. With the exception of a very slim few. I love you guys. :<

          Dude, I cannot call in sick or take days off... here I am, on a regularly scheduled day off, doing last night's work because my new trainee panicked & refused to e-mail me last night when I was taking a sick day. Only this seems to happen every freaking week.

          I don't get paid to telecommute, but I don't want to have to clean up a 3-day old mess, either.

          FML.

            That's ultimately why my wife left the business, Perze. "Days off" were a figment of some deranged imagination or something because whenever one came along there would invariably be SOMETHING she had to take care of, to do with work.

            Well, that and several years of no vacation time. Every time she accrued enough time for a vacation they changed management, sold the property or filed bankruptcy... and got out of paying sick leave, vacations, health insurance and numerous other benefits.

            So, years without a day off and without a PAID day off = Eff this shit!

            She tried a Care Center (the latest euphemism for "nursing home") and found even worse treatment of the employees. Eff this shit, too!

            'Independent wealth' sure is taking it's sweet ass time to come around, isn't it? Dammit!

                Right at the top of the report in big red bold letters it says 'DO NOT DELETE THE LINES. RIGHT-CLICK & CHOOSE 'CLEAR CONTENTS'. DELETING LINES WILL BREAK THE REPORT'. Wtf did you delete the lines you $(*#&$@(*!!! moron??!!! You deleted the lines, it broke the report, and here i am at home on my one day off in two weeks fixing your dumbassed mistake!!!

                    I was always raised to dress professionally when applying for jobs. I've yet to get a job.

                    My sister applies for a job looking like a skank. She was almost hired on the spot.

                      This is the tale of the smog check.
                      My car registration is due Thur 16.
                      I take it to smog for $56 on Tues.
                      It FAILS by 2 damn lousy point.
                      I try today to go to the BAR field office and get assistance for car repair of up to $500 via their ca assistance program for smog check repairs.
                      I called this morning and got information to come before 2pm It's noon. I book it there.
                      I get there and the rude lady..well was rude. And apparently the program has been cancelled due to insufficient funds from the state. Apparently I can't be told this on the phone when I ASKED all my questions earlier. As she was talking to me in that condescending I want to give you helpful information but it won't really help, it will just reassure me that I am doing my job, I just walked out while she kept talking.
                      Went to my mechanic (whom I do trust) and after an hour, came back catalytic converter is shot. I aint surprised. It's a 93. $400 to repair. Oh? I haz not that money. I stood at the counter making a face trying to figure out what to do. He said he could do it for $300. Ok.

                      Came home. Gonna have to put the payment on part cc, part all my tips, part my bank account with my rent money. I am going to be without any emergency money for a while. And I will be living day to day on the change in my purse from tips. *thankfully weekends have been picking up and I should be ok and just have to juggle some bills a bit.

                      BUT DEAR LORD. I have to hate someone. I hate the California govt.

                      And that's my tale. Time to go cry in the corner.

                        Congrats, so you don't follow the mainstream. You just dress like your friends , talk the same BS your friends do, act like your friends, and listen to the same music your friends do. Sorry to break it to you but you are a sheep following the herd just like everyone else. So please, next time check your superiority complex at the door.

                            This doesn't have anything to do with anyone on the forum. My really good friend from WAY back is starting to feel superior because he is in a metal band. So he thinks he can be a jerk to me when ever I choose to listen to mainstream music. He even dared to to say "I don't think I want to associate myself with people who listen to this crap." Well that pissed me off and really hurt my feelings so I made it very clear to him that he is no better then I am. After that he shut up pretty quickly.

                              Facebook is a *totally inappropriate* place to notify people about serious and personal family issues- like a relative's death. What is it with people who check their brains at the FB log-in page??? Stuff like that should be spread through phone calls, not a damned FB status update. >

                                I bought this dam laptop! Every time I start to use it someone else suddenly need it and I have to get off it!!!!!
