I do understand,I loved my Mother,but because of her controlling nature I could never be around her. I would have loved to have a normal relationship with her as Mother,but she would never change from the controlling person.

I'm not trying to be a jerk...but I think its maybe an important distinction to make. And maybe if its the latter, it might be easier to deal with...

Oh you're not being a jerk. It's the latter, I know that. But it's what I've been dping my entire life; living for thise moments where my mom acted like my mom. Those are the ones I miss. They were always followed by mean Iris-eating-monster-mom... the problem is that the two coexist, and probably always will. I've been having nightmares ab her for the past few nights. Yesterday my husband had to reassure me that I was home safe, because I woke up and still felt like I was with her. I don't miss the pain. But the child in me is still looking for her mom.

Anu... it actually really helps to hear from you. Makes me remember this is something you can overcome.

Prepping potato salad for my side dish for work lunch now has my hands smelling of celery flakes. I need to rub them in my hands to grind them like oregano.

^^^ I have a rosemary plant in the kitchen and whenever I break some off to add to a dish, I rub my scented fingertips on my temples. I heard somewhere that it's a good thing to do with rosemary.

Youtube Webcam Rant

In case if you didn't know, There won't be any more Youtube Webcam uploads. This really makes me upset because ever since the total nerf of the whole Youtube site in 2010, There's no more star system. They replace the stupid thumbs system. Then Youtube removes the video responses. And now stupid Youtube is going to remove the Webcam uploads. I hate this site so much. I'm sorry but I just can't help myself because angry of this stupid removal.

Why my Latin teacher insists on mailing us our homework and making us print it ourselves, I will never know. Does she not know how expensive ink is? What the heck are my grandmother's taxes paying for, anyways???
