To try and avoid any confusion...

I (formerly Ljubezen), am creating a new mini-introduction so those of you who I've already met are up to speed, and those of you who I haven't really had a chance to connect with yet can [strike]bear witness to my egotism[/strike] get to know me a bit.


I am a polytheist semi-reconstructionist pagan following Staroverci (the Old Faith from the region of modern-day Slovenia). I have been consciously pagan for nearing two decades now and am constantly researching history, mythology and lore, linguistics, and various sciences in some weird obsessive need to understand. I'm still not sure what it is I'm looking for, maybe just answers. Maybe just validation.

I've long since given up on the idea that I'll ever figure out how the world in all its caveats operates or makes sense. Every time I learn something new it opens a door to another thousand questions and doors with a thousand more. Now I just follow the path that interests me, listen to my intuition, and sometimes curse when the universe seems to take me off my track and puts me onto a different one.

I have a blog I have been working on and off (mostly off) for awhile now that (in idealistic theory) explains the basics of my path. I'm hoping to finish up most of my plans for it over the next year and perhaps then it will be presentable.


Aside from all that; I like to cook, be cozy in a warm blanket with books, movies or video games. I love art and nature (and nature-oriented art), I am an avid reader, one of my favorite authors is H.P. Lovecraft, I have an infatuation with sharks and their conservation efforts, my favorite colors are brown and indigo, and I am a student of all things that pique my interest at any given time (ok so I have the attention span of a hummingbird).
