I came across this artist last night when I ended up getting a chance to see her live. Now, I'd never even heard of her before, but I figured I'd give it a shot, especially since my dad asked me if I'd go with him because he said he liked her voice and had free tickets. So off we went to the casino to the show.
When she first came on stage, I noticed that she was very attractive, and had this airy, etherealness about her when she moved that reminded me of Lindsey Buckingham (from Fleetwood Mac, for those that don't know), as well as the same quality in her voice. What was very contrary to this was her musical stylings, which were a combination of soul, r&b, and reggae. But, somehow, it blended very well together and she pulled it off with flying colors. While not my preferential style, she did what she does quite well, and put on a good show.
