That's around 1 am... that's after the police stormed the concert hall... but Facebook isn't exactly precise so it might be around midnight too -.-

I really hate to say this,BUT I looked up Eagles of death metal on youtube,and they have a great sound..terrible way to discover a band I like though(They were playing at the concert that was attacked)

Infuriating and depressing. I hope whoever committed this atrocity, whatever group, is discovered and made an example of. There are two types of violence: passionate and calculated. The first can be sorted without much aggression and often results in the lifelong guilt of the perpetrator. The latter is insidious and cannot be negotiated with. This level of organization can be nothing less than calculated violence. There is no punishment too harsh for the perpetrators and organizers.

I hope those fallen are at peace now. I know this is from an Anglican book of prayer, but it is a wise thing, for in the end our small, inconsequential and individual legacies do not warrant such aggression.

I haven't looked them up yet, but I know they were playing. I just read that about 1500 people were at that concert, so 100 dead is a huge loss, but it could have been much more.

Our news are still saying about 100 at the concert. Don't think we'll know how many there were for sure for a while yet.

Today we are still beautiful monsters...capable of depravity and terror in equal measure with kindness and nobility. And I have faith that we can still answer the former with the latter.

I read the news late last night, and it was really shocking. It's so close to home. My biggest worry is that it'll boost support for the far-right, which is a growing and disturbing presence in Europe at the moment. I'm seriously hoping that love and compassion win.

Perhaps it's that the older I get, the more jaded I'm becoming. But we are starting to get to a point where hugs and flowers aren't going to help anything, except console those left behind of the ones who were lost. Turning away, offering a handshake to those who just tore your world apart will do nothing except give them an invitation to do it again, knowing that there are truly no penalties to their actions. Far-left can be just as dangerous and destructive as far-right. If you stay silent, you look like a fool who has no thoughts to share, but if you speak out often and loudly, you look like the fool who doesn't think at all.
