    I was about to write pretty much what Tylluan already said, with the exception of the quote... I like the quote, I might give that a try but no resolutions, I could say gain weight or learn to relax, but that's stuff I'm already working on and intend to keep doing.

      I usually don't do New Year's resolutions either, but due to timing, it looks like I will set a couple this year. Not because it's New Year's, but because they're things that need to get done relatively early in the year.

      1) Lose the weight I gained over the past couple of years...it's getting too far and a lot of my clothes don't fit. I don't see buying new clothes as an acceptable solution, because that's a slippery slope. So, weight loss it is.

      2) Have less stuff. We really have to get rid of stuff soon. My boyfriend is here until the end of the week, so we have to sort through things now.

                My resolution is to get my Amazon shop up and running, and to get myownself back to work in the laboratory.

                    I've only got two.

                    1. Continue and keep up with the weight loss that I've been working on and actually make my goal (40lbs to go out of 50)
                    2. Get my studio up to a point where I'm doing more than one commission every three months and have it not be family
                    Always taking art commissions, especially for fantasy and pagan related artwork

                        I never make any 'official' resolutions but I already wrote these on another site:
                        1. Read more books
                        2. Join a secret society

                        Resolutions are for the ambitious. I'll have the leftovers. Teeheee.

                              No more answering the door if I'm not expecting someone.
                              Keep trying to find a friend or two who think similarly to how I do.
                              Try to stop being "politically correct" with the things I do it with, although this will alienate people.

                                I don't really do resolutions. I learned that whenever you want something to change, it's best to start now, not wait till it's the new year.
                                I do have plans for the new year. I'm going on two vacations And I want to start running again, since I stopped because of that runner's knee. I also hope to find a fulltime job I like.
