As Pacifica cliff crumbles, sadness and anger over evacuation order

This kinda sad,but I used to go to Pacifica for the beaches there. Even back then they had problems with erosion. A large hotel came crashing down as el nino ate away at the cliffs. Not good to build on a cliff right near the ocean there.

I'm not Christian, but I find a lot of wisdom in the gospels: "And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand". Matthew 7:26. I'm not gloating or doing "nyah nyah", but I'm of two minds about it. I want to feel sorry for these people, but Nature will have its way. We have the same thing at the Jersey Shore. People have bought townhouses and houses on the barrier islands (Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach, Long Beach Island) which are prone to flooding and erosion.

Only people with tons of money,or tons of stupid build in these places.
