    Same words, same sentence structure, a few words - those that extend well-wishing beyond immediate family - left out.

    Does not happen in nature. Classic 10th grade plagiarism (a ninth grader would have given the entire M. Obama speech, completely unaltered).

      I've read the transcripts, and they are worded differently. They both use the same idioms to get across the same points though. Which are, as I have said, common talking points.

      It is also a few lines, in a much longer speech. Even if she did copy it, or more likely her script writer, so what? Petty criticism.
      Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.

          The same idioms, in the same order, in that much of a speech (and there's more than one spot)...well, if it were a paper, you'd fail.

          And that's not petty criticism, its perfectly fair criticism. A First Lady has to have some intelligence and diplomatic ability. If nothing else, you'd expect that they'd have picked a better staff.

            Wow, a 4% match. So conclusive.

            Almost all of which is this: "values that you work hard for what you want in life that your word is your bond and ydo what you say"

            A sentiment that is utterly banal and trite. Which is what I've been saying from the beginning. These are common sentiments and phrases.

              You can weasel till yer weasel turns blue and falls off, but, even today, in this country, there are those who know know the difference between shit & shineolla. You are talking to intelligent people here, and doing it poorly.

                  Not quite sure why people think Trump is so wonderful. People in the UK view him as a bit of a prat. We should know - we have prats and pillocks coming out of our ears over here on the political scene at the moment.

                      He's the only one taking immigration and border security seriously. He's the only one talking about fixing our military budget. He's the only one, other than Sanders, who isn't owned by corporations. He's the only one, again other than Sanders, who is against interventionism. He's the only one talking about the economic threat that China poses. His book and tv show were awesome. He's doesn't constantly harp on about God and family values, which turns off a lot of right-leaning millennials from other candidates.

                      That's just his merits, comparing him to Hillary also boosts him significantly.

                              I see what you did there. I have my father's old shoe shine kit complete with a couple of empty cans of Shinola. For the young'uns, it's shoe polish.

                              And this is precisely what the candidates are trying to feed us! Ha!! Trump's kids came across well last night. Chris Christie sounded like he was trying to incite a lynch mob. The funniest thing was, after the kids spoke, the commentators were saying how well they did and there were attendees right behind them with little signs telling us not to believe the news media.

                                Not really though. He showed he had the backbone of a politician when he endorsed everything he campaigned against by supporting a neo-liberal war criminal.

                                He talked about Revolution. He talked about Socialism. Except he was never an actual Socialist. He joined a bourgeoisie ruling Party. He then endorsed their canidiate. Sounds pretty par for the course in America, really.
