Amazing I've intended to do this multiple times and just haven't been able to accomplish it.

I wondered if he could ever understand that it was a blessing, not a sin, to be graced with more than one love.
It could be complicated; of course it could be complicated. And it opened one up to the possibility of more pain and loss.

Right now I'm reading How to be a Woman by Caitlin Moran...and I feel as if I've just met my raunchier older British sister.

This description has inspired me to go to my library and demand this book. Besides, I could probably use a few pointer on the topic anyway :P

              Did I post this already?

I am still currently reading Lolita narrated by Jeremy Irons. I keep falling asleep though because his voice is soooo soothing.

But in between that I read (listened) Giles Foden 'The Last King of Scotland'. The fictional *though based on non fictional events of Idi Amin. Made me want to really get into knowing about this tyrant of a man.

Now I'm starting on Robopocalypse by Daniel H Wilson. A story about what happens when we go to war with the robots. Our toaster, our smart toys, our house alarms. Can't wait!

I'm working on reading Allegiant (last in the Divergent series) and quite honestly, I'm a little bored with it. The first two books I flew through... this one seems to be taking forever. Not enough action.

A friend of mine leant me Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. I'm only 20-30 pages in, but I love it so far. I think I would have agreed to Alan Turing's proposition about penises...

just finished R. A. Salvatore's "Legend of Drizzt" trilogy... almost finished with "The Crystal Shard" of the "Icewind Dale" trilogy.

I've meant to read these for YEARS. I wish I would have read them long ago, and I suspect that I will be reading them again in coming years.

He did well with the Drizzt books. I occasionally get tired of seeing the character eventually but Salvatore did good work. His Cadderly books were also pretty good.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

                        Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

I read them all ages ago, but I keep rereading Icewind Dale, because I've always really liked it.

I'm still reading Minus 148 Degrees (the story of the first winter ascent of Mount McKinley), and A Dance with Dragons (which I've had to stop due to slightly-too-gruesome-for-me torture scenes...)

I'm really enjoying it... although, his inability to be consistent about Guenhwyvar is kinda amusing.

I started with Homeland. I read that trilogy first, because I knew that it was the prequel to Icewind Dale.

I just finished The Crystal Shard. Am reading Streams of Silver, now.

Ahh, I read them out of order since I was a nerd and wanted to read the original first. I didn't know it at the time either, that he went back and wrote the Homeland trilogy after Drizzt was met with such affection from his fans.

I LOVE Streams of Silver. It is seriously SO GOOD.
