I lied! I didn't get back into Amp. I'm currently listening to an audiobook called The Colony: The Harrowing True Story of the Exiles of Molokai by John Tayman. An amazing and thoroughly engrossing listen on the first Leper colony back in the 1800s. I can't believe what these poor people went through. I just can't put it down!

RIP
I have never been across the way
Seen the desert and the birds
You cut your hair short
Like a shush to an insult
The world had been yelling
Since the day you were born
Revolting with anger
While it smiled like it was cute
That everything was shit.

Ok, so I'm still listening to Robogenesis by Daniel H Wilson. Amazing! And I'm just overly emotional with such an intense feeling of sorrow etc. So to counteract that, I'm also listening to a fascinating audiobook called Stiff: the curious lives of human cadavers by Mary Roach. It's fact filled fun about how human cadavers have played a role in our lives. From the first anatomists robbing bodies, to being used as test dummies. It's often witty and funny in a very sweet way that you need to over come what you are reading about. The narrator has this way of talking to you as if she's touching your shoulder and soothing you through the worst of it.
