I just started rereading Jonathan Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach; it has a nice nostalgic feeling for me as my mother had a copy in our small family library growing up. She also had a ceramic sculpture of a flying seagull in the living room because she loved that book so much.

While in the hospital I finished up Rise Again by Ben Tripp. And then started The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson. And now I'm starting on Rise again Below Zero, the sequel to Rise again. You know the drill. Zombeeeees.

The winter 2014 issue of the Malahat Review, which is the literary journal published by the University of Victoria. I've had it for ages but hadn't gotten around to reading it.

My downstairs neighbor printed a book of his poetry and gave da boy and I a copy. He sketched a rendering of us on the cover of our book and personalized it too.

Quite a good poet! I'm enjoying the read.

Goes into this category but does the collective you think reading a book is the same as listening to an audio book?

It's like i'm listening to the Golden Bough now simply to refresh myself with the book. But not sure i'd say i'm reading it.

I think we covered this before. What do you call people who 'read' in braille are doing? I'm taking in information to my mind. When I look at the words I form a story in my head. When I listen to the words form a story in my head. For someone who cannot read enjoyably anymore..I'll take it!

Been many years since I last read it but though it might be something to refresh myself on. Don't have it in print anymore so can't browse it now.

I have a paperback,and I just found the whole thing in audio broken up into chapters..Whole thing zipped was like 1.2 gig,from librivox public domain site.

nothing.. I've hit a readers block. nothing sounds good or more like it sounds all the same. Maybe Ill peruse my personal collection again and see if anything sticks out..
