    So we watched Oculus the other night. Not too bad - typical "malevolent spirit inhabiting a creepy object" type film - but it had Katee Sackhoff in it, so I couldn't help myself.

      Last movie I watched was Jack & Sarah. It was on TV and I had nothing else to do. The movie was boring and very predictable. Tonight I'm going to see Captain America 2. I'm a fan of the Marvel movies, so I hope it's going to be good.

            I personally dislike Cap and Superman. They are just too bland for my taste. I like a hero who has been tainted with the blood. Blood of innocents!!! Having to carry the sin...carry the sin.... (sorry. Just finishing up Wolverine Mortal issues before he goes and dies on Sept 3)

            I digress....

            I watched, like I said I would a great American movie! Gangs of New York. But because I watched it a million times before, I synced up an audio commentary to it. Was awesome.

              Well, there's always Punisher, Namor, and Hulk.
              Trust is knowing someone or something well enough to have a good idea of their motivations and character, for good or for ill. People often say trust when they mean faith.

                  Cap and Supes aren't my favourite heroes, but neither are Wolvie and Punisher for that matter. The whole dark gritty anti-hero thing has been just as bland as the classic "freedom, justice and the American way" heroes since the 90s with all the Spawns and Venoms and Ghost Riders.

                  I just like a good variety. A big spectrum of moralities and ideas. Maybe this should branch off into it's own thread, there seem to be plenty of comic fans here.

                  Just to stay on topic, last movie I watched was 21 Jump Street. Funny shit man, I enjoyed it. Who knew Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill would be a great comedy duo? Next time I'll actually watch a movie in cinema though, will probably be Guardians of the Galaxy, which looks amazing.
                  I did consider seeing Godzilla, but as a Godzilla fan, the movie just looked...wrong. Same goes for Maleficent, I'm a huuuge Disney fan, and the more I saw of the trailers, the worse it seemed.

                      Comic characters "die" all the time (see Cap, Supes, Batman, Robin, Spidey, Xavier, etc. Very long list), but very few stay dead. There's Jean Grey I guess, but even she pops up in some form or another from time to time. The second Robin, Jason Todd, was dead for a very long time, but they even brought him back eventually (and he was killed off because everyone hated him, let alone a popular character like Logan).

                            My Fave is the first one "The lost ark one" though I also like the holy grail one..Not as fond of the "temple of doom" for some reason
