It's a really, really cool thing, to be able to show people that you can be yourself, and you should be proud of yourself, and you should own who you are and what you're about, and never make apologies for it.

Horseracing!!!! And in between races I'm watching "The Men Who Stare At Goats" which I DVR'd last night. It seems pretty weird so far, but I'm The Woman Who Stares At George Clooney, so it's OK.

Can you hear me, Major Tom? I think I love you.
Sophie's first "live performance"...she was invited to play the tambourine by the band at the farmer's market--this was part of her "encore", she actually did 6 songs with them...I just posted it on FB for the grandparents, etc
(yes, the quality sucks, I dropped my camera and everything I took pictures or video of afterwards sucks...I need a new camera now)
The clouds! I grabbed my lawn chair a glass of iced tea and a couple of books and spent the day in the sun. Okay I probably should have been exercising or doing some form of yard work but meh...

I'm envious. I tried watching the clouds, today. We had some great fair weather cumulus, for identifying shapes, animals and people in, but since I was driving, putting on some 150 miles, I had to keep looking away from the beauty of the sky and watch that annoying, omnipresent pavement.
I'm trying to remember where the heck it came from but... "Clouds are like dreams, floating through a sky blue mind."
Yeah. What an absolutely gorgeous day!

Just finished an older (starring a young Dolph Lundgren) Punisher. Not my favorite marvel character but generally doesn't have plot holes that you can navigate an ISD through which is occasionally a perk.
Life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."
