    I am kinda wondering why all of a sudden there are a LOT of end of days movies and series on TV..someone know something and not sharing?

    all i ever wanted was a normal life and love.

      I don't know, but I've noticed that myself. It used to be, if a show was set in the future, it was like Star Trek, showing a promising time ahead. Now it's all post-apocalyptic.

        NPR has a program called Science Friday, and on it, they have a discussion of various Sci-fi books. A while back they were joking about being sick of the trend in post 'porkylips fiction. I don't think it indicates much, except that the current zeitgeist is morbidly fatalistic.

        Personally, I prefer ecstatically pornographic, but that's just me.

                      Parasites make me queezey. Especially tapeworms.

                      But there are more parasites than there are people, so I guess she might as well make their acquaintance.
