While the rest of the world talks about Game of Thrones, I just discovered Game of Silence - 3 episodes have aired, which I got caught up with, and a new one will be on Thurs. night. It's a little bit Sleepers, a little bit Mystic River. With the always-a-pleasure-to-behold David Lyons.

The Birth of a Nation

I first read The Confessions of Nat Turner in the 8th grade... It's probably one of the most personally defining books I've ever read. This movie (about Nat Turner) is a long time coming.

Just watched "Dracula untold",made in 2014. Good version of the Vampire story...There is a sequel being made,"Dracula untold 2" Well made and a good watch for any fans of the whole Vampire story line.

Ok,wondering what shows are being canceled and what shows will continue?

Here be the verdicts.

Some of mine are going away,"Person of interest" will end this season...What are your favs that might go away,or be renewed?

Zoo was renewed? Yay!! I think all my favorites are renewed - Blue Bloods, The Goldbergs, Chicago Fire, etc.

I had to search "Zoo" because I have never watched it,though after searching I remembered seeing it once,but it did not catch my attention.
It is funny,because once my younger sister got on me for not watching one of her favs. Thing is each person only has so much time to watch,and you have to find your faves and fit them into your viewing time(A little easier with on demand,BUT still only so much time to watch) Also a lot of choices,and the possible canceling of a show you are just getting into. At lest 3 of my faves only made one season.

There are a lot of shows friends rave about that I just never got started on - Grey's Anatomy, Nashville....I know I'd like Nashville because I love Jonathan Jackson, but even with DVR there's just so much I'm willing to watch, like you said. I watch lots & lots of horse racing, so that's really the bulk of my tv time.

You have maybe 8-10 hours in a day,depending on your sleep and outside stuff..so maybe 6-8. and a LOT of choices. These days I fall asleep watching,so I love on demand so I can catch my shows when I am more awake..afternoon.

I remember the scene in "Fahrenheit 451" where the wife has 4 WALL TVs,and the TV talks to her personally.
Is this where TV will go?
