I'm eager for transhumanism to advance. In my view, progress shouldn't have any limitations in its development. Application of it, however, should of course be discussed thoroughly and implementation has to be as seamless and thought-out as much as possible. There is no limit to the extent of enhancement we can bring to human life, and beyond.

I've got no opinion on transhumanism. It feels vaguely wrong to me, but I grew up in the human era, and intend to be dead before "trans" part kicks into overdrive, so NOT MY PROBLEM, NOT MY CONCERN.

It's actually kinda relaxing to be able to say that. Other people can worry about or applaud that.

I feel like this is the only place where I can talk about this topic and NOT have people think of me as crazy.

One of my work mates got this glazed over look on her face when I talked to her about the next step in human 'evolution' being linked to technology. I really believe one day really rich people will be able to upload their consciousness onto the internet and live forever in the cloud, growing in wisdom all those years. Maybe our ideas of what the astral plane is like will become a tangible alternate reality via the internet.

I'm still working out how I feel about it. There's a part of me that is truly alarmed. Another part is really fascinated. I feel really sad about losing our sense of dependency on the natural world but excited about the creative capacity.
