Lol! I can see how at first it may seem a bit vexing. We've waiting on her visa so she can move here from the Great White North, and money has been pretty tight this year, so we've not been together since Valentine's Day.

Been awake for 20 hours. Day 2 went almost perfectly. I got a girls number, I chatted up two dudes, and I went to an after party and chilled with the performers until just now, at 4am.

And the aurora is back in the sky. AND Tim will be home tomorrow!

So I got home today and in the mail was my federal refund check. How's that for happy news?

Oh and pizza is on the way because I'm celebrating.

Oh you know...because I'm moving to the new store near my house! I got the position! I'm still assistant head cashier (which I'm actually quite fine with). But my 2+ hour 2 bus commute just got downgraded to about 35-45 minutes. And I have about 4 different routes to take. And I can take a taxi home straight down the street for about $10 if I ever am in need with no ride home. I'm near places to stop to eat before work and after. And my transfer point is pretty much the mall. So that's a total plus! All within a 5 mile radius. No more getting home 3 hours after a shift! I'm next to El Pollo Loco. And next to the mexican supermarket!

Thankees. What's really cool is my 'interview' was maybe 10 minutes long. He asked me to talk about myself. I did for a minute. Then he talked about himself. And he said You're hired. I'm pretty sure the talk he had with my boss the day before pretty much sealed the deal. I should buy my boss lunch. He told me he would do anything he could to get me there. So happy!
