      We had our grand opening today! The Mayor and the other city dignitaries were there with the ribbon cutting ceremony.

      I rode my bike home and my sugar was 93. Yesterday it was 84! So I feel I'm doing better!

      It's cold. I got to put on my Hello Kitty slipper uggs.

                So we have these things called spiffs. It's extra money you earn by selling our service plans and memberships. I've been keeping tabs on it since that's my main job as front end supervisor. Since Nov 1 I've made an additional $50! Just like that! I love this new store and I'm starting to settle in to feeling comfy running the registers.

                  So yesterday I was selling a membership to a gentleman and his family. He was very nice etc etc. And after the whole transaction was done he handed out to us these little cards with Jesus on them. And we thanked him (he was in a walker). After he left I'm like here Ali, I'm not a Christian. You take it. And he's like Here Summer I'm not a Christian you take it. And she's like well I'm a New Ager so ......trash.

                  Found out our new assistant manager is from Lebanon and is Muslim. And him and I and Summer and the other Wiccan chic are now our own little non Christians in this community. Was quite nice knowing we all are together in our store.

                      This is weird. But like when I ride my bike home. I'm like hungry. But then I sit down to eat and I don't eat a lot. For dinner I had some laughing cow swiss cheese on low sodium triscuits. Some Hillshire farms summer sausage and 2 oranges. I know I didn't eat a lot so I skipped one of my Diabetes meds. I thought exercise was supposed to make you hungry!


                      Edit. Apparently it helps suppress the hunger and the glucose levels. Those glucose levels actually suppress your appetite. Word to your momma.

                      Edit x2. Also I think because I have a regular schedule now, I eat at regular times. I actually have breakfast. All be it it's 2 slices of toast with butter and jam. By the time I get to work my bike ride eats at that level. Lunch is a sammy and piece of fruit with chips (pb and J) and then I get home and I'm like meh.
