I told the kittens that I was sad that they didn't come in and wake me up anymore. Luna, the girl kitten, took this to heart and woke me up at 4:45am yesterday and 6AM today. While I didn't plan on getting up so early, there's no better way to wake up than to a purring kitten.Comment

A skirt I bought from eBay arrived today. It's an old secondhand tiered velvet goth skirt from goodness knows how long ago. Proper velvet, not that crushed stuff, and so heavy! It's gorgeous and fits perfectly. Me and this skirt clearly belong together.

Made a discovery today! If you use Nutella instead of chocolate bars for smores, you don't have to hope your marshmallow melts the chocolate! Also it helps hold everything together!

I've been trying to quit cussing and while I've had a few slip-ups, I'm doing really well. I've been known to cuss like a sailor at times, so it's definitely a hard habit for me to break. I know it's not a good habit to have; it makes me look like an ignorant uneducated person. But I'm proud of myself for how much I've improved in such a short period of time.Comment
