    Aww.. thanks! Coming to PF and posting about my progress (or at times, lack of) definitely helped me. Whether it was just being able to get things off my chest, or reading about how others have handled similar challenges, it was nice to feel that I wasn't alone!

          I did this when I was 20, from poor decisions as a college student (paying for college on all the lovely credit cards they give you as a college student when my parents stopped helping me pay for what student loans and scholarship and work-study and job wouldn't cover and then paying for going to the doctor because I wasn't covered under my parent's insurance once I had to quit school and get three part time jobs because I couldn't afford school or find a full time job with medical coverage). Aside from feeling rather crappy about it at the time, it was really the best decision I could ever have made.

            I've made an executive decision on my bday vacay. I'm going to spend the day at the San Diego zoo. They have a bus that goes through the zoo AND an overhead cable car system included in the price! I went to the Safari one years ago but forgot all about the regular zoo. I can take a Coaster train roundtrip for $11 and a bus that goes there in a few minutes! Yay!

                  14 years ago this morning, my BFF was running late for work. She worked for one of the large financial companies in the Twin Towers, & saw the smoke as she was driving in.

                        Did my grocery shopping and the weather was actually nice. I picked up a rotisserie chicken, sliced it and slathered it in McCormik's steak seasoning. My boss turned me on to this combo. Works great because the mild chicken gets a good kick from the meat spices. I'm in the process of making a batch of potato salad. I've chopped up my cucumbers and lemon and tajin. All I have to do is make my pot of rice and my work lunches are ready for the week. Nice home cooked meals.

                            So we had our district manager come do a formal visit with all us managers there. The visit went great. No super big issues. All our metrics are good. And he bought us all In-n-Out!
