Being home makes me smile.

Seeing friends I have dearly missed, driving roads I know backwards and forwards and even sideways, having a change of season, and my dog.

Oh, yeah... at work, we have a tradition:

On someone's birthday, someone will pin a dollar bill to the birthday boy/girl's shirt with the message "happy birthday" written on it. Other people will staple/tape more money to the original bill as they see fit.

Tonight, at the bar, I used only the the money that was pinned to my shirt at work... and I still have $18 left from that money.

That also makes me smile... I had a blast at the bar for my birthday, and spent none of my own money.

I finally got the internet up at home. I'm on dial-up now, but it's better than the nothing I had before. This site loads ridiculously fast, but the rest of the internet is super slow. So it looks like I'll be doing a lot more reading on this site!

When my dog is done going to the bathroom outside in the snow... she proceeds to try to cover it by sticking her nose in the air and scratching snow backwards with her hind feet... I don't know if I explained that right, but I causes me to fall over laughing every time.
