    Even better, the woman who runs the shelter gave them all names to honor David Bowie, since he passed away the day they were born (I can't remember if there are six or seven, but Ziggy, Major Tom, Jareth, Bowie, Stardust, and Blackstar are the names I do recall).

      Makes me smile, but also cry.. This is the full-length version of a Lloyds bank advert that's been running since last year. It shows our remarkable relationship with horses through the last 250 years (Lloyds celebrated their 250th anniversary last year, and their symbol is a black horse). Usually they show a cut down version on tv, but it still gets me in the feels every time it plays. I mean, tears EVERY time!

      夕方に急なにわか雨は｢夕立」と呼ばれるなら、なぜ朝ににわか雨は｢朝立ち」と呼ばれないの？ ＾＾If a sudden rain shower in the evening is referred to as an 'evening stand', then why isn't a shower in the morning called 'morning stand'?

            So last year our company had our annual 'anonymous worker bee survey'. Pretty much we get to rate our company and bosses and make suggestions. I guess they really listened to us. We are now closing at 8pm instead of 9pm to spend more time with our families.

              My friend who has a daughter in Jr High did something amazing today. Her daughter is in an afterschool program which teaches Hydroponics and Aquaponics. When their crop is done they have a salad party! She just emailed the school district and principal about her idea to expand the program to other schools in the district and allow the children to not only take part but to supply 100% organic fruits and veggies to the schools year round for lunches. I really hope it takes hold and the schools agrees to it! It would be a great thing for the community. She's my hero of the day!

                    Just got done with parent/teacher conferences.

                    Have cracked open my skull and am pouring alcohol on my raw, living brain.

                      Boss just texted me that since we are soo slow, I can take Sat off. I also happen to have Sunday off. So huzzah for me!

                      Thinking of doing the metrolink to Oceanside and back for $10. It's cold at the moment. But I a nice ride while I listen to my audiobook suits me just fine.
