I'm the exact same way. I always feel like I'm inconveniencing someone by starting a conversation with them, IRL or online.

I know IRL, it makes me seem aloof or disinterested, but I honestly don't want to bother anyone.

Sometimes im desperate to talk to people, but my default belief is that theyre not interested :S

You are easily one of the most outgoing people I've ever come across! Don't worry.. the more you say, the greater your chances of saying something interesting! lol! Joking Seriously, it's your personality people are interested in. A bubbly person is welcome at any table.

I'm the same, but I'm not the outgoing type. I feel like the most boring, disinteresting person alive when I watch other people who are more extroverted than myself having conversations. My mate at work is like that - and I often think, "he has so many other friends like him, what could I possibly offer him that would make him want to hang out with someone as boring as me?". *sigh*

I'm more frequently desperate to get away from people... unless we are talking karaoke... I love karaoke... otherwise, I'd rather be at home with my gal and my LEGO than in public with people.

I do not want to move. But have to.
I am completely unprepared for losing the family farm. Permanently.
I have no idea what to do, where to go, or how to find out.
Because of certion emotional and spiritual needs, not to mention physical needs, options are unbelievably limited.

Salem, MO. Keokuk, IA. Paris, MO. And perhaps 50 others, to choose from... I am vastly overwhelmed, completely lost, and totally at the mercy of others.

For the past few years, my mom was unable to affordthe property taxes. The Reverse Mortgage, that she has, paid them for her. Now she owes those folks the entirety, $22,000. Long story short, we have to sell in order to avoid foreclosure.

RMS, Reverse Mortgage Systems, gave us the option of doing up a Short Sale, or just hand over the deed. We have no choice, we have to sell. One more Century Farm falls.

I am deeply pained, frustrated and pretty much just trying not to panic.

Sadly, the most viable option is to throw my mom into a nursing home, and get myself into goverment funded assisted living.

Neither of us want that, and would sooner die.

The catch is that you don't want any heirs, you don't want to have a lotta years left, and you have to make sure you keep the property in good order, insurance and taxes up to date. Great money for seniors, really, just putting all that equity to good use, instead of wasting it.
