While Married,and Wife was Vegen..I ate mainly vegen..was not all that crazy for the sub veg meat,BUT the Vegi burgers were not bad....


By the by,my Wife did from time to time make me a Manicotti with ground beef all just for me. I would eat it for lunch at work for a week

I love veggie burgers ^^ I eat Morning Star brand burgers. I love em!

Those Morningstar veggie patties are good - but they taste like spicy veggies, not imitation hamburgers.

Not sure I've seen the original "The Ring" movie so can't compare them. All in all though I tend to find the American remakes of foreign movies tend to suck in my opinion. It's like the vampire movies LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (Swedish) and it's American remake LET ME IN. I greatly enjoyed the original even with its subtitles but disliked the loss of character the American version had. I'm glad I saw the American version first as it made the foreign version that much better.

Sad to say I wish it only applied to recent movies but it's been apparent in movies as far back as the 1940's regardless of genre.

Jimi Hendrix is awful. People say that the reason everyone loves him is because of the fact that at the time, no one had ever made a guitar sound like that, or had done things like that with a guitar. I have to disagree. I think THOUSANDS of people had made those sounds with a guitar, but realized that they were horrible noises and that they had made a mistake while playing, and thus vowed to never make those noises in public.

I've never seen the American remake, but the original Swedish one was a total work of art!

I tend to think the same applied to Janice Joplin as far as being a great singer and performer. To me she had a scratchy voice and didn't really sound that great. But heck if you were on drugs and listening to the music perhaps it wasn't that bad. I always though the lead guitarist for Tommy James and the Shondels was one heck of a players, especially when he made the guitar sing during the song Crimson and Clover.

Sad but I find the American remake to be almost painful when I watch it now. Needless to say I do not watch it that often though.
