                        1. A ton of people who bought my last book (which you can do to! *shameless plug*) are from Australia. A strangely larger proportion than anticipated.

                              Mal's Les Mis post brought to mind the Lion King on broadway, but since I didn't feel like sidetracking that convo, I'mma gonna ramble about it here. It's coming to DesMoines in April/early May. I'm frigging excited. I love the Broadway production of the Lion King, it is the most awesome thing I have ever seen actually, and I've gone to maybe four or five Broadway productions. It's awesomesauce. But the tickets! Damn. The worst seats are almost $100. And I really want a decent seat. So I'm looking at about $300 for tickets for me and Alex, probably budget another $100 for dinner (though we could easily work with $50 there, but if I'm paying the kinda $$ for tickets we might as well go all out.) Potentially a hotel room if we feel like staying the night. Though if we stay the night we might need $$ for a sitter. Not sure. so yeah. Probably like $400-$500 date night. That's ridiculous and I have no clue if we're going to be able to afford it. But I really wanna so we'll see.
