Girl. Now that I have pretty regular shifts...all 10 to 6 ish, I'm all like UP UP UP. I didn't even need sleeping pills last night and I'm up at 7am. Been sitting here an hour fiddling what to do. So I'm biking to the laundromat.

I'm thinking this deserves me afternoon catnap for sure!

Also. A pair of old tighter jeans. Not so tight anymore! Yay!

I wished using a Bike as my mode of transportation to and from work would be feasible. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Just for the losing weight benefit, alone. Not to mention not spending so much on Gas. But, I drive for work and they don't do loaner cars.

Now THAT sucks... I drive a gov't car, and its a hybrid, for work. I can easily put over 100 miles the car on a day out in the field. If I had to drive my own, I'd mutiny!


...unfortunately, a bike isn't feasible til the kids get to and from school on their own

I used to cycle to work...then the bike betrayed and I was injured for about a month. Yay~

I bike everywhere. Driving in Berlin isn't even worth it (if I didn't cycle, it would definitely be public transport, which is one of the best in the world!) Plus, I can't afford a car or especially gas, even if I wanted to. Gas is equivalent to around $7 USD or more, so noooo....

Taking 2 buses still to my new job with only a 25 minute commute would still cost me monthly $80. So that's my money!

I just feed myself. That's my 'gas' money.

Where I used to live in NJ was about an hour by train to NYC. The commuter monthly ticket was about $400. Plus, there wasn't enough parking at the station, so people took cabs a lot, which was $10. each way from my neighborhood, 3 miles away. Lucky for me I didn't do that commute! I drove 17 miles each way, which took about an hour and I had to put new rotors on my car every year. Haven't replaced them since I moved here, 5 1/2 years ago.

I work regular, im a teacher and I still cannot get out of bed regularly.

Then I waste saturday but not getting out of bed till 1pm

Oh, and I have a sore throat for no good reason.
