        I need a new purse... My old favorite one has fallen apart on me.

        I've been thinking about trying to make one since I never really like the boring ones that are within my price range. I read online about this method of batiking where you melt down crayons from the dollar store in a muffin cookie sheet and paint it on the cloth, than iron off with newspaper to absorb the wax.

                Half an hour until the new year been for a walk with my camera to photograph fireworks. Think I'll go out again at midnight when people really start firing.

                  Still early here,just a little before 6pm..I am not a big fan of new years anymore. Used to be one of those go a little crazy drinking on new years,but age has mellowed me now.

                    I used to be terrified of fireworks but this year i forgot to be scared of it I don't drink, never really have. But a nice dinner and watching fireworks is nice.

                      I'm in the Central time zone but I still celebrate New Year's in Eastern time. So, if I can stay up till 11 p.m. here, I'm good. We'll see if I make it!

                            My mother's anniversary is on December 31, so I always spent New Year's Eve with my brother at a babysitters or babysitting my brother. So it really isn't a big deal for me.

                                I partied pretty hard last night. It's the first time I've really gone out to party since before I got pregnant so, probably about two years now. Apparently we didn't pass out until about three in the am. I don't remember much from after one. I've never been that messed up. Ugh. At least I don't work until 3 and I had fun, which is awesome.
