          I've got icecream and pancakes... This is gonna be a lazy day... though I'm contemplating making the journey to my 'local' (only one in this part of the country) occult bookstore.

            I saw a dead body this morning. On the way in to work, I got held up on the highway for over an hour because a tractor trailer hit and killed a guy who was walking down the road. As I drove by, I was able to see a pair of boots off to the side, and the body under a very bloody white sheet. I've never seen anything like that before.

              I do so hate when that happens. Between respect and concern for the dead and their survivors, and the dagger thrust at one's own mortality, it is a painful way to begin a day.

                  I have seen a few bodies over the years..One was a fall in the Navy,off a mast,bad safety practice,no harness. One neighbor that did himself with a .45 in his apartment. A guy that got hit by a bus right outside where I worked,I was standing smoking and that one was surreal because it happened right in front on the street..Like in the movies slow motion kind of thing.

                  One that really hit me was driving Traffic was slow because a flat bed truck with sheet steel in rolled bales was going to fast hitting the off ramp and the chains holding the bales snapped. When I got close enough to see,there were FLAT cars where the bales rolled over them. I thought to myself,that could have been me if I had been there a little sooner..

                  This is what I mean by steel bales.

And the one seemingly in charge of the planning is an old classmate who pretty much doesn't know me, I'm pretty nerdy she's not... they also decided it's girls only so my two best friends aren't allowed...
                              stuff I'd like to do: dress up, sword fighting, laser tag, escape games, gaming... she's pretty much all about drinking and girl talk. So I'm a bit nervous that noone even thought to ask what I'd find funny... I'm probably worried for no reason. I hope.
