So I just stared listening to my audiobook Wastelands. An anthology of short stories about after the apocalypse. First story out of the box is a Stephen King short. It's only 50 minutes long. I rode my bike to work listening to the last 20 minutes. I had to pull over at the end. Just gutted me. Felt like I got a mallet to the stomach. I knew the ending already. He told it right up front what was going to happen. His writing and the unbelievable performance of the narrator just blew me away.

Stephen King is the shiznit...still...and forevah!

It was if he said 'yeah, you want a quick end of the world story? Here you go..then walks away. Follow that.

I was so tired last night I fell asleep without taking my allergy medicine (3 pills a day). So I'm a bit closed in my nose and throay. I look towards the window and see the shape of a giant Wasp in my window.... so now me and my stuff is stuck in the livingroom until someone comes home.

Spent my evening making these and stripping all the candle holders, jewelry boxes, and wooden bowls (for altar bowls) I need to wood burn so I can reopen my storenvy shop. Bout to switch to making more journal covers for my cafepress shop, or even print worthy stuff.....Imma be exhausted by the end of the day

Yup. They have a cork top that has a screw added to it and a cord so you can wear them. They also get engraved here in a bit as soon as I fully wake up lol

I am thinking it is so early in the whole running for POTUS thing,and them peeps seem to just be self immolating right and left..who will be left to make me snicker come November next year.

Trump told us today that he went to the Wharton school of finance, and you have to be really smart to go there. And he said we should leave Iraq but take the oil. Reminded me of "leave the gun, take the cannoli" from The Godfather. I think that's his thing - he has a Godfather complex.

I have a small manicure set that's about 30 years old, and the leather case was made in Austria. It's such a shame that we don't have many nice imports from anywhere anymore, just junk from China.
