Re: What Are You Thinking About?

I'm thinking that some 9th grade students are none too bright...

Despite working with them for 12 weeks and knowing which ones can't write in their native language (which is reputed to be English), I guess they figure I won't notice when they turn in a cut and paste research paper with perfect grammar and punctuation.

They also probably never figured out that I can type four consecutive words from a sentence into a search engine and find exactly where they've copied it from.

    Silly little angels.

I just want to conk their heads together and see if they will wake up.

It's my day off. I'm going to clean... Because my home is a mess.

Lol...it doesn't get better. In college, I had to submit papers through this software that did plagarism checks for the professors--it checked it against online search engines, and every other paper that had been submitted thru it. I don't think you'd be surprised at how many people "failed" even knowing they had to do this....but it shocked the heck out of me.

          Oh yeah... I can imagine.

That's why they should hire somebody like me to write the things for them.

Our school will start using this next year: http://turnitin.com/ It checks for identical and similar sentences as well as writing style and format apparently.
The colleges around here use it too.

It depends on the due date. A good paper at 10 pages is a little under $100 if given a few weeks. I've written some papers around 5 pages for $50.
You can also order papers here http://www.writemypapers.org/ just specify what you need and order.

Bored.. Stuck at work until my BF shows up. Kinda worried about my Baby Dragon.. But, she has been doing a lot better. Still on my struggle to find my "Pagan Path"... Hopefully I'll have time to do some Soul Searching later once I get home.. If anyone wants to chat to help time go by... It'd be appreciated

Wow. I actually used to go to the library, read, take notes, research topics, write papers/reports out by hand, and then type them on a manual typewriter. And, after reading all this stuff about computer-age cheating, I'm GLAD I did it that way!

Etsy won't let me list items made with mammoth ivory. I got a harsh letter letting me know how evil I am for using it.

I guess they're an endangered species.

Mammoth Ivory? As in extinct relative of modern elephants or am I committing a zoology fail?

Hahaha, what? I didn't know that etsy was campaigning to save the mammoths.

Well - full disclosure - they told me I can't use it 'cause I'm a white guy. They said it more PC, though.

Oh yeah. I'm not supposed to tell anyone they said this...

P.S. Funny thing is that I bought the box of ivory pieces off Etsy in the first place.
