Hey, MO? Is your "inappropriate" the same as mine??

      Does it involve not-chafing?

That's one of the safer bets you could make.
life itself was a lightsaber in his hands; even in the face of treachery and death and hopes gone cold, he burned like a candle in the darkness. Like a star shining in the black eternity of space.

        Yoda: Dark Rendezvous

"But those men who know anything at all about the Light also know that there is a fierceness to its power, like the bare sword of the law, or the white burning of the sun." Suddenly his voice sounded to Will very strong, and very Welsh. "At the very heart, that is. Other things, like humanity, and mercy, and charity, that most good men hold more precious than all else, they do not come first for the Light. Oh, sometimes they are there; often, indeed. But in the very long run the concern of you people is with the absolute good, ahead of all else..."

John Rowlands, The Grey King by Susan Cooper

"You come from the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve", said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth; be content."

Wondering how well I'll fare moving into a small apartment from a 2000 sq foot house.

Also, today will be an interesting day at work. Hopefully I have some supportive coworkers to help me deal with the ensuing nonsense.

There is a very positive side to the move -- much less housework!

There are a lot of positives, the only downside is the loss of space and my own yard (I'll miss my pine tree). Oh, and one of my cars will have to be parked on the street. But that's pretty minor.

The rent is very reasonable, they like hedgehogs, the kitchens are tiny but are magnitudes better (looking) than what I have now. Currently I'm living with an emotionally abusive narcissistic (and either delusional or just a chronic liar-- we can't tell) mother who moved in with us right after my husband and I were married.

It's just a lot to process. Especially since it will be the 5th time I've moved in the past 8 years and I was told I would be able to stay in this house for 7 years or so (long enough for us to get on our feet, save for our own house, and possibly start a family); which has been utterly destroyed. It's just time to cut our losses, move on, and rebuild. I know, tmi right? haha Don't worry, I have supports for the mental weirdness.

I found the smart part of youtube. I've decided to subscribe to this channel called
Numberphile even though I can barely understand it all the way through. I'm still gonna try!

Munchkin #2, really bad abdominal pain, in the "hmmm, maybe appendicitis?" area (right lower quadrant, extra low). Plus a fever. So bad, when we decided to take him in, he was crawling on the floor crying because walking hurt too much.

Ends up it was too much chocolate cake and pizza...and an ear infection. Constipation followed by the big D. He, of course, fell asleep like a champ afterwards....I still had to drive home, put him in bed, change into jammies, set an alarm to call my boss...

Oh no! I hope he gets to feeling better.

I had an early morning run to the ER for my mom. Lower abdominal, hershey squirts and vomiting. They kept her though. And she doesn't have an appendix anymore.

Must be the week for debilitating belly aches.
