    I've changed my username from "Porpoise" to "Spiny Norman", which is the one I use on Buddhist forums. I thought I'd try a different user name on a different type of forum but I've been missing the old one.

            Had breakfast with my daddy at Cracker Barrel. Their pecan crusted catfish is AMAZING. Now.....now I just want sleep. Seems a sad way to spend my birthday, but hopefully tomorrow its not raining so I can actually go to the zoo with the boyfriend after family stuffs

                Heck, I recognise that name! (I used to lurk on pretty much every Buddhist forum there is....)

                I have an overdose of tv. I miss my flat right now. My perfectly silent, distractionless *cough cough* COMPUTER *cough* flat.
                And books.

                  Need washer/dryer ideas. We'd like to have a combo unit. One that does both functions. But I also would like to have something that could handle our heavy blankets and whatnot. Ugh.

                      Thinking how I go downstairs to get something to drink in the dark kitchen. I hear a monster breathing in the corner. Then I hear it snoring in the corner. Then I realize our piggy pitbull is sleeping on her blankee in the dining room. And then she tries to follow me upstairs! I had to turn off the light and shut the door before I heard her go back to her bed.

                      I'm also thinking about how weird it is for my co-worker/asst manager just texted me at 2 in the morning. He's like I guess Deardons and wss is moving next.

                      I'm like are you drunk texting me at 2am?

                      And then it hits me. We have new construction going on next door to us in the shopping complex. They are opening a Deardon's furniture store and a shoe warehouse next door. And I'm like yup, I need some new sneakers man!

                        6 months ago KP and I bought a washer and dryer set. A samsung 4.8 Cu Ft High efficiency washer and dryer. I got them on sale for the 4th of July, so they were half priced and then I found a floor model of the dryer for even cheaper because there was a small dent in the side. Its big enough to hold my quilts and blankets and its high efficiency. Total we paid $955 for them.

                          Where did this sudden burst of confidence come from? Since christmas I've been feeling better, more relaxed. Yesterday I pulled it together and sent my sign up form for an audition in january (shrek), got the sheets for the song and started working on it... I'm not even really nervous, although it looks like there will be at least 500 other women going for the same part (big audition, spread out over 4 days), just excited. Today l've been nailing all the high notes, belting! And I have this feeling that I am SO gonna nail the audition! It's weird, I don't know where it's coming from. I think it's nice, but I don't remember feeling like this... I'm kind of scared it's gonna crash at some point, but who knows, maybe I just really am feeling better no use worrying I guess. Just trying to enjoy feeling happy! And confident. Because I'm good, and I know it heh...

                                So I have a slight obsession with the candy cane white chocolate flavored things. Like the Hersey kisses and the candy bar, oh and pepperidge farm also does a cookie with that filling. Anyway while at the grocery store there on the get rid of christmas everything aisle I found the hersey white chocolate candy cane bars 3 full boxes. They were 37 cents a piece. I walked out with 28 of them!!! That should keep me happy for a few months.
