There was a cranky bovine making lots of noise somewhere in my neighborhood last night. Odd, because I never think of cows mooing in the middle of the night, and slightly less odd, because I live in the suburbs. You can still have a cow() around here, I just wasn't aware of any. Also, it was frustrating because I have been fighting insomnia and was finally sleepy. It was a loud, insistent moo.

We have cats, chickens and this horrid little doggy next street over. All hours it sounds like it needs a cough drop.

Sleeping pills have stopped working. I'm exhausted and cranky--I can't get a stronger rx until next Tuesday at the very earliest. Currently trying to solve this problem by drinking.

Please be very careful! Sleeping pills and alcohol are a big-time no no.

In spite of what some doctors preach drugs and alcohol are rarely long term answers. Have you considered guided meditation?

I always had a hard time getting pain pills from doctor even when I was in Major pain..One prescribed me 10 percasets for major arthritis pain.When I next saw him I still had 5 left. He asked why I did use them all,and I said because I ONLY take them when the pain is REAL bad..he then gave me a 100 a month prescription.

Have you tried the ZZZquil liquid purple stuff? It works fast so my mind won't fight against it.

I'm thinking larp races are a little.. racist? particularly the bedouin and gypsy ones? Like the bedouin seems more or less factual but why lift a real world ethnic group. Then let's not get started on the romani because the traveller/vagabond type stock character is super appealing but, like I feel a little awful? I'm being assured it's really not racist but, I'm like 90% sure it's actually pretty insensitive.
