I vote for no more political posts on this forum. Unless it actually relates to paganism. The p doesn't stand for to political.

        Re: Whatcha thinking about now?

I've had a terrible headache or migraine over the past couple days. Took a torodol. It's finally calming down, however, I can't take torodol except for emergencies. My other things aren't working well. I'm wondering when I see my headache specialist next if I should talk to him about botox treatments.

What's the point of making such a post if you don't intend on following through?
This forum has a core of very tight knit posters, I think that may discourage people. That, and while this is "Pagan Forum" Pagan conversation isn't always what's popular.

Thank you, I agree so very very much.

I think people that don't want to see whatever kind of thread should post more of whatever it is they want to see.

What is it about Sherlock Holmes that I love so much? Also tomorrow is painting day, well I'm going to sleep as late as I can do some meal prep while KP goes to the endodontist, and if he doesn't come home with a brand new root canal we will be painting. I say we but knowing him I will sit outside he room while he paints.

On my bike ride home tonight, something ran across my bike. It wasn't a cat or a dog. It was the size of a....I dunno...big fat hamster? It was stout and short legs and no tail. I have no idea what it was. But I just waited for it to cross and skeedadled on out of there.

To be fair I don't think you can remove venues of conversation and expect o keep a membership base especially with a membership base that has been candid with eachother for well over a decade.

As Callmeclemens said: "This forum has a core of very tight knit posters, I think that may discourage people. That, and while this is "Pagan Forum" Pagan conversation isn't always what's popular."

When I joined this forum ten years ago it was a bevy of thought from all sides. It would be remiss on that memory if it went down a path of simple subjectivity.

I absoluteness don't expect it to stay the same. I also expect that the people who come here predominantly for political discussion will probably find their way to a new (or old) place where they can talk politics to their hearts content. Or they will adapt. We won't know until we cross that bridge.

Every moment of a life is a horrible tragedy, a slapstick comedy, dark nihilism, golden illumination, or nothing at all; depending on how we write the story we tell ourselves.

I've heard that they are illegally entering the country. Call immigration services and have it deported.

I really don't think you can limit what people talk about, but maybe we could be encouraging and cultivating more Pagan discussion.

I feel like I've taken some heat before for critizing popular conversation on here, and was told that I myself should maybe share better content. I resented that but let it go. My post count and years on this forum really apply to this conversation. In four years I've posted under 400 times, however I've never really left, I'll lurk for a while waiting for the right conversation.

In 2016 for someone to actively seek an internet forum, I think you need to be pretty determined to find kinship in an area where you don't know where else to go. I've found that here I guess, albeit in two or three reply threads.

I think its hard to enter any new social group. We as humans are a clique-y type. So accepting a new person takes a whole lot of time especially when you don't actually meet the person face to face. I remember when I first joined I felt like I just talked to myself.
