    I've been hearing that in early Oct., the President is going to announce something about world peace, and then the infamous rapture is going to happen. Yay!!!

        I hate having these frigging migraines and headaches. Went to the head specialist on Monday. She gave me two new medicines, one to take at night for both a sleep and preventative. The other which is a muscle relaxer and will basically wipe me out if I have a really bad migraine. I woke up with a migraine this morning. After taking my usual generic migraine med and aspirin later on, I had to try the muscle relaxer. It helped. Thank goodness. Feeling sleepy though.

          Made some lovely vegetable soup yesterday night. I put some into flasks that came with my food processor so I could bring it to work, and froze the rest. I had some with my 'lunch' just now and I could taste the plastic from the flasks. Hope that's just because I'd never used that particular one before.

            Given how psychotically oversold Left Behind and its variants are, it'd be funny (if it didn't say horrible, horrible things about divinity) if Rapture goes off, national governments realize that we're in a Left Behind book and proceed to say, "We know this script.               Well, if anything remotely rapture-ish happens, I wonder if Scotty will beam up the crazies to some big asylum somewhere, or the rational ones to a better place. In either event, I won't be seeing the likes of Bachmann again. Whichever camp I'm in, it's not hers.

                There hasn't been three years of a seven year peace, the antichrist has not been declared and temple has not been rebuilt yet so the rapture can't be coming. I wish these radical Christians would at least read their documentation. ho hum...

                  Is is called "The Rapture" (rapture, definition: feeling of intense pleasure or joy) because:

                  A) It feels nice to be sucked up into heaven
                  B) It feels nice to see your enemies mashed down
                  C) It feels especially nice to be sucked up into heaven while seeing your enemies mashed down
                  D) Both A and B
                  E) Neither A nor B
                  F) Some other thingy?

                      I'm wondering why I have been acting like such a bitch lately. I seem to be angrier than I usually am. I don't know if it is stress or what. Hopefully my trip to my Granny's this weekend will help me destress.

                        So, I must vote for Mayor next week (voting is mandatory in Brazil). Thing is: I moved to another city and can't afford the bus ticket. It's not that I must vote (although I must), it's just that I'd like to.

                              It was for a midsummer's night dream, which at the time was one of my favorite plays. Hippolyta hooks up with Titania after murdering Theseus in revenge for his killing of the Amazons, meanwhile Demetrius and Lysander hook up because Lysander was actually trying to impress Demetrius who was actually bisexual but, trying to suppress it by sleeping with lots of women. Hermia and Helena realize that the love triangle was tearing apart their friendship and decide to focus on empowering themselves instead.

                                Can't wait to get home tomorrow. I'm in Kentucky staying with my Granny. I miss my dogs and my bed. Love my Granny, but I really can't wait to see the happy faces of my dogs and the big bed that awaits.
